The former Atomic Kitten, who once holidayed on the exclusive island of Mauritius in the Indian Ocean, will now spend her summers at the Presthaven Sands Holiday Park in Prestatyn.
A pal said: “Kerry doesn’t give a stuff if people want to laugh at her and call her trailer trash. She’s really happy with the caravan.”
Kerry, 28, and hubby Mark Croft, 38, have fallen in love with the area after a string of budget weekends with the five kids they have between them.

The friend said: “Kerry and Mark are working class and were in their element on the site. They loved being with down-to-earth people.
“She’s not the kind of person most people would expect to see sat in a deckchair with her trousers rolled up, but after the problems she’s had she needs to be a bit more careful with her spending and the caravan is the perfect solution.”

Concerned

But other van owners on the site are likely to be concerned about lowering the tone.
Kerry is celebrating after frozen food chain Iceland renewed her £250,000-a-year ad deal. But she and Mark still need to watch the pennies.

They spent last weekend at the caravan site with another couple and decided it was the perfect spot for family holidays. They have put a deposit on a Willerby Granada model, which has three bedrooms, kitchen with full-size oven and hob, power shower and gas central heating.
The site has a pool and flume, roller blading drome, playground and mini-golf.
Kerry and Mark can dine out in style at the Mash and Barrel bar and lounge or tuck into haddock from the on-site chippy.

Giggle

Our source said: “They had a fabulous time with the children last week and had a real giggle.
“Mark and Kerry are really looking forward to the summer when it’s peak season and they can see the acts at the park. They often have people like Chico from the X Factor. Kerry is even thinking of doing a turn herself if they ask her.”

KERRY is not the only caravan-crazy celeb. Housing Minister Margaret Beckett famously takes hers in tow for holiday trips.

But she is put in the shade by cool movie stars Jack Nicholson, Sean Penn and Matthew McConaughey.
Like Madonna, they all drive around the US in £50,000 tourer vans.
